He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Rhoades and Millie Rhoades; and his son Richard "R. J." Rhoades. He is survived by: his wife Michele; his children, Jennifer Walters (Steve) and Michael Rhoades (Tiffany); his grandchildren, Dylan (Rachel), Trevor, Aidan Walters, Quintan and Finley Rhoades; and his sister Patty Draskovich (Joe). He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church (11822 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO 64145). Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 5:15 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery (8300 Quivira Rd, Lenexa, KS 66215).
