He was predeceased by: his parents, Cora Lee Sisson and Walter O. Norman; his former wife Freddie Lee Essex Norman; his son Lemuel "Stu" Walter Norman; and his siblings, Albert, Ernest Freeman, Betty Norman Smith, Onita Norman Hamblin, Walter (Sonny) and Beverly Ann Norman.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Mary Perkins Norman; his daughters, Crystal Gail and Tamika; his sister Anita; his granddaughters, Micah, Makenzie "Chubby" and Macyn; his pet Minx; and his sister-in-law Lin.
Lemuel also became the President of The Senior Brotherhood, joined The Male Chorus and helped to create The Economic Foundation for Mt.Zion.
