He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Kate; his wife Beverly Jean Hornick; and his siblings, Leslie, Gene, Melvin, Norman, Dorothy Pittman and Betty Gensert.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Amanda Bergmann, Caitlin Gard, Shawn Hornick and Courtney Hornick; and also Darrell Hornick (Christi). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
