She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Rev. D. D. Miller and Doris Miller; her significant other Cheating Peggy; her siblings, Richard Miller and Charlotte King; her children, Damika Wotruba-Carter (William), Patrick Wotruba, Jr. (Vaquandra), LaShad Buffett (Jackie), Heather Buffett and Ryan Buffett (Brittany); and her grandchildren, Angel, Anthony, Chris, Keaura, Cameron, Rachel, La'Naya, Josiah, Jada and Shekinah. She was also cherished by her grandkids, sons, and son-in-law.

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church (901 Waverly Ave, Kansas City, KS 66101). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
