With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Russell Stallings (Kansas City, Kansas), who passed away on December 15, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Gary Russell is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Gary Russell's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon K Stallings and Elizabeth June Stallings. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Shauna Stallings, Shannon Wiseman (Jason), Melissa Stallings Bryant and Shane Stallings; and his sister Sandra S. Jones. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chappel Hill-Butler Funeral Home (701 N 94 St, Kansas City, KS 66112).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to local animal shelters or veterinary programs to honor his lifelong commitment to the care of animals.
