He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Gaunce (Florence) and Opal Lusk (Victor); and his sister Marlene Patterson. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Gaunce; his children, Terry, Candee Hoffman (David) and Chris (Jane); his grandchildren, Evan Gaunce (Krystal) and Lane Gaunce (Kaleigh); his children, Ashley Bennett (Michael), Daniel Hoffman, Chase Gaunce and Mallory Nachbar (Jeffrey); and his great grandchildren, Logan Bennett, Caden Bennett, Savannah Nachbar, Jackson Nachbar and Leo Gaunce.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Porter Funeral Home (8535 Monrovia, Lenexa, KS 66215).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the University of Kansas Health System to benefit Cancer Research and Center for Advanced Heart Care.
