He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bond, Sr. and Bessie Mae Walker Bond; his grandmother Adina Burton; and his aunt Jonnie Rene Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Lee Smallwood-Bond; his son Christopher Dante Floyd; his stepdaughter Kimberly Smallwood-Meritt (James); his siblings, Larry Bond of Decatur, IL. and Patricia Ann Spates of Decatur, IL; his nieces, Kaylen, Kelli Peltier of Kansas City, MO and Christie Bond of Atlanta, GA; his nephew Isaiah Hicks (Joneneiqa) of Atlanta, GA.; and his close friend Sammy.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Highland Park Funeral Home and Crematory (4101 State Ave, Kansas City, KS 66102). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
