She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Otto, Sr. and Gertrude Blanche Smith (Sheriffus); and her siblings, Charles, Melvin and Joan Giebler.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Schultz (Delvin) of Ellsworth, KS, Bill Thornton (Susan) of Lorraine, KS and Becky Carlson (Lanny) of Ames, IA. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
