It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Lee Pierson of Kanopolis, Kansas, born in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 18, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Bates and Ruth Bates (Geschke); her sister Mary Ann Bates; her husbands, Larry Houk and Jerry Pierson; and her close friend Bud Tiemeyer.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Houk, Jr. (Dani) of Ellsworth, Shamarie Farthing (Chris) of Ellsworth and Christy Pierson of Salina; her grandchildren, Katie Ranker (Joe) of Ellsworth, Kourtney Strobel (Chas) of Plymouth, MN, Kitsy Krehbiel (Colter) of Marquette, Kylie Pierson of Wichita Falls, TX, Kori Pierson of Salina and Sam Farthing (Kaitlyn) of Hays; and her great grandchildren, Henri, John, Abel, Kadence, Beckham, Lane, Kelli, Korbin, Kreighton and Aria.
