shane russell wrote a sympathy message

“Jack was a wonderful uncle and a friend to so many people from our community. He was an Army combat veteran of the Korean War with his twin brother Jay. Both were in the same unit and fought together during the Battle of Heartbreak Ridge. I remember the stories that he would share with me after I enlisted in the Army myself. He will be missed by all who knew him and I want to thank his family for the service he gave to this country. Shane F Russell Wichita, Ks”
