She was predeceased by: her father Thelbert Janzen; and her grandson Dalton Ploutz. She is survived by: her mother Darlene Janzen (Bedwell) of Ellsworth; her husband Karl Ploutz of Kanopolis; her children, Shawn Ploutz (Kendra) of Kanopolis, Jill Jeremenko of Alexandria, VA and Brian Ploutz (Erin) of Wichita; her grandchildren, Blake Ploutz, Damon Jeremenko, Tori Ploutz and Tristi Ploutz; and her siblings, Lonnie Vopat (Harry) of Paola, Mike Janzen (Valerie) of Geneseo and Pamela Parsons (Bill) of Ellsworth.
