She was predeceased by: her parents, J. C. McDougle and Lula Mae Brown; her brothers, Nellcine Brown and Jerry White; and her pet Charity.
She is survived by: her children, John Brown (Melissa) of Junction City, Kansas, Andre Brown of Junction City, Kansas and Hope Denise Garry-Bey (Laurence Springer) of Inkster, Michigan; her siblings, Victor White of Junction City, Kansas, Grady White of Junction City, Kansas, Terrie Sue Brown of Colorado, Theresa Taylor of Junction City and Mary McDougle of Morton, Mississippi; her grandson Andre Tiqueze Baker of Junction City, Kansas; and her close friends, Shelia Armstrong, Lisa, Brett and Rodney. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
