Though LaVern Roshell may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those LaVern Roshell touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Earl Starks and Jurline Jackson-Lucas; her sister Chris Rachel Jackson-Moss; her children, Jessica Corryn Jackson-Nettles, Cecil Walter Chandler IV and Christopher Wayne Jackson; her grandchildren, Legasi Gerriah Pointer, Lilli Corryn Nettles and Christien Glenn Nettles; her grandparents, Jessie Mae Jackson and Esker Jackson; and her aunt Christine Jackson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Johnson & Mass-Hinitt Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (203 N Washington St, Junction City, KS 66441). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
