John R. Cox Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John R. Cox of Junction City, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 28, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Laverne Cox and Phyllis Cox. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Christie Butler (Frank), Eric Cox (Michelle), Rina Cox, Jr. Jean (Emily) and Robert Jean (Megan); his siblings, Phillip Cox (Ami Jo), Shelley Gerber (Mike), Chris Cox (Sandy), Fran Carrigan, Robert Cox (Bob), Jesse Cox (Terry) and Cara Lukasik (Jack); and his close friend Sam Loveless. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Johnson & Mass-Hinitt Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (203 N Washington St, Junction City, KS 66441). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Junction City Kansas (624 N Jefferson St, Junction City, KS 66441).
