She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph R. Dupere and Magdalena Dupere (Rott). She is survived by: her sons, Charles Melendez (Ashley) of Manhattan and Kevin Smith of Junction City, Kansas; her siblings, Michael Dupere of Montevideo, Leroy Dupere of Junction City, Kansas and Inge Noa of Junction City, Kansas; her grandchildren, Damion of Manhattan and Holden of Manhattan; her close friend Benny Melendez; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Bowie, Lyra, Colt and August; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Tucker and Russell; her niece Maria (Dave Metzler); and also, Casey (Herschel Weishaar) and Morgan (Andrew Goebel).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to be given to the Junction City Animal Shelter because of her passion towards animals.
