Jacqueline left this world on December 16, 2024 at the age of 78, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerhart Thrasher and Catherine Jones; her husband Walter Joseph Givens; and her sister Barbara Jean Burgess. She is survived by: her children, Walter J. Givens, Jr. (Monica), Antonia Day (Bryan), Michele Castillo (Curtis) and Tara Hammond (Michael); her brothers, Robert Graham and Albert Jones; and her grandchildren, Chelsea, Jared, Mikaela, Joshua, Cameron, Philip, Michael, Jr., Natalie and Nathaniel.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the New Church (1315 W Ash St, Junction City, KS 66441). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 10:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Kansas Veterans' Cemetery (5181 Wildcat Creek Rd, Manhattan, KS 66503).
