She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerhart Thrasher and Catherine Jones; her husband Walter Joseph Givens; and her sister Barbara Jean Burgess. She is survived by: her children, Walter J. Givens, Jr. (Monica), Antonia Day (Bryan), Michele Castillo (Curtis) and Tara Hammond (Michael); her brothers, Robert Graham and Albert Jones; and her grandchildren, Chelsea, Jared, Mikaela, Joshua, Cameron, Philip, Michael, Jr., Natalie and Nathaniel.
