As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Carol Ann may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James A. Carter Sr. and Manuella Carter (Bond); her brother Karl Carter; her sister-in-law DeKarla Carter; and her grandsons, Joshua L. Smith and Shawmon Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Janell Smith (Hammond) of Junction City and Vernon Carter of Junction City, Kansas; and her brother James Carter Jr. of Manhattan. She is also survived by loving grandchildren, family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Johnson & Mass-Hinitt Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (203 N Washington St, Junction City, KS 66441). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
