She was predeceased by: her father James M. Chalmers; her brother Carl Hammonds; and her son David Edward Kittling. She is survived by: her mother Dorothy Ann Hammonds; her husband Sylvester; her sons, Sylvester (Yvonne) and Orlando Kittling, Jr. (JayR); her grandchildren, Sylvester Orlando Kittling III (Trey), Ayannah Yvonne Kittling, Zimiah Daveigh Yvonne Kittling and Ma'Kai Orlando Kittling; and her siblings, Gregory Hammonds (Shuntel), Dexter Hammonds, Sharon Hammonds and Candice Chalmers.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Johnson & Mass-Hinitt Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (203 N Washington St, Junction City, KS 66441). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Second Missionary Baptist Church (701 W 10th St, Junction City, KS 66441). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Kansas Veterans' Cemetery (5181 Wildcat Creek Rd, Manhattan, KS 66503).
Memorial contribution are suggested to go to 2nd Missionary Baptist Church.
