With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara E. Edmonson of Junction City, Kansas, who passed away on October 31, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Pascual Edmonson; and her sisters, Verla Thompson, Rebecca Gasswint and Delores Anders. She is survived by: her children, Angela Parks (Henry Parks, Jr) of Thompsons, Lorenzo Edmonson of Junction City, Samuel Edmonson of Junction City and Michael Edmonson, Sr. (Jamee) of Junction City; her grandchildren, Andrea Acaba Mims (Thomas) of Thompsons, Rhonda Tagtow of Sioux Falls, SD, Lee Potter of Apple Valley, Christopher Edmonson (Kim Muse) of Manhattan, Nathaniel Edmonson (Melissa Hyman) of Glasco, Austin Edmonson of Manhattan, Gerome Valdez of San Antonio, Marcus Hurt of Dallas, Mariah Edmonson (Tommy Kowalczyk) of St. Louis, Michael Edmonson, Jr. of Junction City, Ella Cross (Imoni) of Netzaberg and Tyler Edmonson of Junction City; her great grandchildren, G'ana Valdez, Marissa Valdez, Sydney, Alyssa, Avery, Hailey, Brock, Alice Edmonson, Shelby Edmonson, Isabella Edmonson, Fenix Edmonson, Kinzley Edmonson, Grayson Silver and Nevaeh Edmonson; her great great grandchildren, Kyla Pleasant and Marianna Estrella of San Antonio; her sister Gloria Jean Adams of Waynesville; and her niece Diana Gasswint.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Johnson & Mass-Hinitt Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (203 N Washington St, Junction City, KS 66441). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
