He was predeceased by: his parents, John Purdy and Loretta Purdy (Gross); and his siblings, Steven, Robert, Louise and James.
He is survived by: his wife Christine; his daughters, Erica Hunt (James) of Iola and Samantha Purdy of Manhattan, Kansas; and his grandsons, James Anthony Hunt of Iola, Kansas. and Ethan Dean Hunt of Iola, Kansas..
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Johnson & Mass-Hinitt Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (203 N Washington St, Junction City, KS 66441). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Kansas Veterans' Cemetery (5181 Wildcat Creek Rd, Manhattan, KS 66503).
