He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Gonzalez Ortega and Ignacia Antillon-Escudero; his wife Hermelinda Leyva Fernandez; and his siblings, Alfonzo Gonzalez, Adela Gonzalez and Manuela Gonzalez.
He is survived by: his children, Ramon Diaz (Martha) of Ulysses, Kansas and Ivonne Dominguez (Adrian) of Johnson, Kansas; and his siblings, Heriberto Gonzalez of Mexico, Blanca Gonzalez of Mexico, Sophia Gonzalez of Mexico and Betty Gonzalez of California. He is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
