She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Kinney and Louise Kinney (Packard); her husband Larry Simmons; her son Larry Don Simmons; and her brothers, Keith, Daryl and Alvin Kinney.
She is survived by: her children, Mercy, Richard Allen, Wade Wilson, Sonuahua Compton, Rick Wilson and Roxanne Brown; and her brothers, David and Roy Kinney. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home - Johnson Chapel (101 N Highland Ave, Chanute, KS 66720). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at the Earlton Cemetery.
