He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Matter and Letha Matter (Dyas) of Jewell, KS.; his sister Coral Ann; his brother-in-law Richard Tegley of California; and his nephew John David Tegley.
He is survived by: his wife Carole (Katz); his children, Jude Matter (Heather) of Beloit, Megan Young (Scott) of Mankato, Katrina Jones (Kevin) of Beloit and Mitch Matter (Lyssa) of Beloit; his grandchild Katia; his children, Logan, Devon, Mason, Tyler, Cole, Lane, Anna Marie, Grace, Ember and Josie; his nephews, Dallas Katz (Belinda) and Chris Tegley; and his niece Elizabeth Curtis (Johnny).
Memorials may be given to the Church or the Mitchell County Regional Medical Foundation.
