She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard "Gerald" Mahin and Eva Thompson Mahin; her husband Robert Shelton; her son Michael Shamburg; and her granddaughter Elizabeth Shamburg.
She is survived by: her sons, Curtis (Dee Shamburg) of Portis, Kevin (Joleta Shamburg) of Salina and Kirby (Colleen Shamburg) of Randall; her sister-in-law Gloria Hanson of Concordia; and her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Bryan, Adam, Erica, Richard, Lucan, Caiten, Dacie, Vanan, Mica, Ellivia and Tullar. She is also survived by step grandchildren, great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be given to the Church or Beloit American Legion.
