He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Welch and Hope Welch (Ozmun); his spouse Vyonda N. Frost; and his siblings, Royal, Dean and Virginia Gardener.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey, Michael and Michelle; his grandchildren, Kyle Baker of Lorena, Texas, Daniel Crocker of Portland and Brandy Crocker of Saginaw; his great grandchildren, Evan and Riley of Saginaw, Texas; and his sister Marilyn West. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
