He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrell L. Garst and Carrol Garst (Modlin); his brother Dennis Garst; and his nephew Ethan Johnson. He is survived by: his close friend Karol Moore of Jewell, KS; his children, Eric Garst of Kansas City, MO, Nathan, Lindsey Garst of Kearney, NE, Deborah (Steve Bailey) and England (Sierra Keever); his grandchildren, Kaitlynn Garst, Zachary Garst, Zander Keever, Samantha Garst, Jayden Keever, Maddison Bailey and Lillie Keever; his siblings, Carla Sanpaka of Scandia, KS, Kevin Garst of Belleville, KS and Jennifer Maiorana of Manhattan, KS; and his sister-in-law Viola Garst of Scandia, KS. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
