With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Samuel Leroy Hendrickson of Jetmore, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 16, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Samuel Leroy leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Samuel Leroy may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Wesley and Daisy Ellen Pitts Hendrickson; his siblings, Wesley Morgan Hendrickson and Roberta Joyce Reed; and his son-in-law Ronald Drake.
He is survived by: his daughter Dana Drake; and his grandsons, Jonathan Scothorn, Justin Scothorn (Kenia) and Jace Drake.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Beckwith Funeral Home (121 W Bramley St, Jetmore, KS 67854). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Jetmore Methodist Church (205 E Hwy St, Jetmore, KS 67854).
