He was predeceased by: his parents, George Paul and Alta Evans Morris Maskus; and his siblings, Paul Maskus, Jack Maskus, William Maskus, Jean Bushell, Phyllis Weiss and Joyce Koehn.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his daughters, Julie Harms (Vaughn) of Jetmore and Dana Fairbank (Jim) of Cimarron, Kansas; his grandchildren, Tanner Harms of Little River, Chipper Harms of Jetmore and Brandi Stewart (Gary) of Lindsborg, Kansas.; his siblings, Jim Maskus, Richard Maskus and Helen Ann Wetzel; and also Bob. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Kenyon Nature Park and Jetmore Public Library (which were two of Bob's favorite places) in care of Beckwith Funeral Home, PO Box 663, Jetmore, KS 67854.
