It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Joanne Sorem (Jetmore, Kansas), born in Dodge City, Kansas, who passed away on July 17, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis C. Schauvliege and Irene K. Goebel Schauvliege; her husband James R. Sorem; and her brother Donald C. Schauvliege. She is survived by: her children, Dr. James R. Sorem Jr. (Gentra) of Tulsa, OK, Richard J. Sorem (Melinda), Dr. William A. Sorem (Shelly), Dr. Robert M. Sorem (Kelly) and Jenifer Jill Rivera (Robert). She is also survived by ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
