She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence G. Grumbein and Louise Peterson Grumbein; and her spouse Johnnie D. Appel. She is survived by: her children, Mike Appel (Phyllis), John Pat Appel and Robyn R. Appel; her grandchildren, Jeremy Appel (Ashley), Amy Eilert (Jon), Josh Appel and Caleb Appel; and her great grandchildren, Korbin, Colt, Quinn, Callie, Kassidy and Cambryn.
