He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe L. Lonnberg and Mildred L. Henderson Lonnberg; his brother Robert "Bob" Lonnberg; and his father-in-law Bill Cohoon. He is survived by: his wife Paula Jean Cohoon; his daughter Mandy Paz (Luis); his granddaughters, Cassidy, Annie and Emma; his daughter Melissa Nuss (Josh); his grandchildren, Macy (Jase), Megan Neff (Tyler) and Neff; his siblings, Don Lonnberg and Mary Lou Kline (John); his sister-in-law Deon Lonnberg; and his mother-in-law Alice Cohoon. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
