It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R. Sweany of Jetmore, Kansas, born in Manhattan, Kansas, who passed away on January 16, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard V. Sweany and Helen R. Klocke Sweany; his wife Alice Ferguson; his children, Erika Craghead (Kent) of Jetmore, KS, Timothy Sweany (Cherie) of Chicago, IL and Patrick Sweany (Danielle); his sister Kathy Tuttle (Merle) of Salina, KS; and his grandchildren, Drew, Tyler and Jacob.
