He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter E. Cressler and Ruby L. Cressler (Mowry); and his siblings, Leslie, Wayne and Charlene Maske.
He is survived by: his wife Betty A. Benedict; his friend Bill Nelson; his children, Doug Cressler (Nancy) of Jennings, Don Cressler (Trish) of Norton, KS, Alfred Cressler (Stephanie) of Arlington, KS, Jonathan Cressler (Anna) of Oberlin, KS, Marsha Chavies (Bernie) of Las Vegas, NV, Beverly Harris (John) of St. John, AZ and Penny Hayward (Jeff) of Oberlin, KS; and his sisters, Pat Hansen (Lyle) of Bartley, NE and Debra Bowie (Keith) of Jennings, KS. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
