It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard P. Anderson of Jamestown, Kansas, who passed away on October 29, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jens "Jim" Peter and Carrie Margaret Anderson (Decker); and his wife Carol J. Lundblade. He is survived by: his children, Robert Anderson (Charlotte) of Jamestown, KS, Steven Anderson (Shelly) of Courtland, KS, Tari Philips (Ward) of Belvue, KS and Angela Seamans (Bryan) of Topeka, KS; and his grandchildren, Ryan Anderson (Stephanie), Amy Applebee (Trevor), Allan Sheahan (Gabby), Kyle Anderson (Aubrey), Kesley Hagen (Galen), Jessica Philips, Colton Seamans (McKenzie), Jordyn Seamans, Rachelle Anderson (Austin Krier) and Amanda Augustine (Bradley). He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home (325 W 6th St, Concordia, KS 66901). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Jamestown Community Church (503 E. Walnut, Jamestown, KS 66948). A burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Jamestown Cemetery (251 Teal Rd, Jamestown, KS 66948).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Jamestown Community Church in care of the funeral home.
