He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred W. Nelson and Elsie Nelson (Moe); and his sisters, Opal Elaine Payton Hardesty and Laura Lee Platt. He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Whitley (Kackley) of Jamestown, KS; his children, Robert Whitley (Bonnie) of Goddard, KS, Randall Whitley (Gail) of Jamestown, KS, Russel Whitley of Wichita, KS and Renee Davis (Scott) of Jamestown, KS; and his grandchildren, Brandon, Dustin, Tyler, Randall, Levi, Xanadu, Desiree, Matthew, Yeoman, Taylon, Meechie, Kayla, Jessica, Ashley, Kirstin and Erin. He is also survived by 31 great grandchildren & numerous nieces, nephews & friends.
The family suggests memorials to Jamestown Community Church in care of the funeral home.
