He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Alcide and Bertha Josepha Herbin (Schulte); and his sister Joan Byrnes. He is survived by: his wife Edith Marie Nordhus; and his children, John F. Herbin, Jean Meis (Fred) of Minden, NE, Mary Horan (John) of Chicago, IL, Ann Powell (Mike) and Margi Puckett (Duane) of Lincoln, NE. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren & 23 great grandchildren.
Due to covid, there will be a private family Mass of Christian burial at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Fr. David Metz officiating on Friday, December 10, 2021.
