It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Truman Raney of Iuka, Kansas, who passed away on March 26, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Raney and Audrey Raney (Washburn); his sons, Terry Raney and Tracey Raney; and his siblings, Roy Raney, Gary Raney, Dennis Raney and Pat Hageman.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Raney (Roberts) of Pratt, Kansas; his children, Larry Eisenhauer (Lisa) of Iuka, Troy Raney (Carla) of Nevada, Missouri and Lori Anschutz (Steve) of Iuka, Kansas; his sister-in-law Shirley Raney of Cunningham, Kansas; his sister Carol Fast (John) of Haviland, Kansas; and his grandchildren, Corey Raney (Dakota), Tyler Raney (Alexis), Brandon Raney, Conner Raney, Ally Raney, Emily Raney, Tucker Eisenhauer, Toree Eisenhauer, Tanner Schonfeldt, Kady Anschutz, Kory Anschutz and Austen Anschutz. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Larrison Mortuary (300 Country Club Rd, Pratt, KS 67124). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Iuka Cemetery - Iuka.
Memorials may be made to Interim Hospice or Cunningham Christian Church in care of Larrison Mortuary.
