It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Shannon of Iola, Kansas, born in Nortonville, Kansas, who passed away on November 26, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Dockweiler and Anna Mae Dockweiler (Sebring); her children, Doug Shannon and Susan Shannon; and her siblings, Dick, Tom, Gene and Violet Mahaffey.
She is survived by: her husband Raymond G. Shannon; and her children, Patrick Shannon of Iola, Joyce Warren (Dan) of Berryton, Judy Baker (Tim) of Iola and Peggy Voyles of Calhoun, Georgia. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to ACARF, contributions may be left in care of the funeral home.
