With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth E. Caudell (Iola, Kansas), born in Moran, Kansas, who passed away on November 9, 2024 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth E. Caudell to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett "Bud" Manbeck and Thelma Manbeck (Cloyd); her former husband Lawrence Wools; her husband Sheldon; her siblings, Clyde Manbeck, Dorothy Gilman, Lucille McClannahan and Carolyn McGuffin; and her brother-in-law Gerald Clay.
She is survived by: her children, John Wools (Karen), Teresa Smith (Jeff) and Tim Wools (Virginia); and her siblings, Richard Manbeck (Sherry), Mary Clay, Ida Andruss (Philip), Barbara Johnson (Allen) and Beth Prock. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service (1883 US-54, Iola, KS 66749). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Feuerborn Family Funeral Service - Iola (1883 US-54, Iola, KS 66749). A burial was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM.
Memorials are suggested to the Iola Baptist Temple and can be left in the care of the funeral home.
