Richard Hottenstein Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Hottenstein (Iola, Kansas), who passed away on October 21, 2021 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hottenstein and Beatrice Hottenstein; his parents-in-law, E. L. and Rogene McCullough; his brothers-in-law, Dale Yowell and Charles "Chuck" Hess; and his nephew John Ryan Hottenstein.

He is survived by: his spouse Timmee (McCullough); his children, Richard L Hottenstein Jr. (Andrea), Bobbie Haviland (Brian) and Loni Wilhite (Jon); his grandchildren, Jacob Haviland, Rylan Wilhite, Conor Haviland, Drake Hottenstein, Drew Wilhite, Carsyn Haviland, Kenisyn, Skylar Hottenstein, Alexis Mitchell, Lauren Bertling and Paige Haviland; his siblings, Paul Hottenstein Jr., Mary Hess, Elizabeth Hottenstein, Linda Thummel and Diane Hiser; his uncle Charles Tilman; and his aunt Liz Smothers. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Humboldt Recreation Department and may be left with the funeral home or mailed to 1883 U.S. Highway 54, Iola, Kansas, 66749.
