Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Richard Canfield of Iola, Kansas, born in Topeka, Kansas, who passed away at the age of 97, on January 26, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Cranfield and Mabel Canfield (Butt); his wife Wanda; and his siblings, Dorothy Elizabeth Steinmeier (Canfield) and Donald Frederick Canfield.
He is survived by: his children, Russell Canfield, Tamara Robbins (Tami), Terill Canfield (Teri) and Laurin Canfield; his stepchildren, Vicki Janet Saubers-Wright, Daniel Ray Saubers, David Randall Saubers, Liana Caubers-Potter, Paul Dewayne Saubers and Troy Donald Saubers; his sister Sandra Fischer; and his brother-in-law Craig Fischer. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service (1883 US-54, Iola, KS 66749). The inurnment will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggests memorials in Richard's memory be made to Allen County Animal Rescue Facility (ACARF), and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service.
