She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles A. Ervin and Bernice Ervin (Hillard); her husband Charles Harley McVey, Jr.; her siblings, Eldon Ervin, Betty Davidson and Barbra Daughty; and her son Chris A. McVey.

She is survived by: her children, Phillip E. McVey and Linda Sue Bonham. She is also survived by one brother; 3 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.
