It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patty (Lewis-Stanley) Franklin (Iola, Kansas), who passed away on February 16, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lewis and Wanda Lewis; her siblings, Bobby Lewis, Johnny Lewis and Linda Marlow (Lewis); her brothers-in-law, Gerald Gilchrist and John O. Franklin; her children, Brenda Ludlum, Brian Hemmert and Leslie Stanley; and her granddaughter Kayla Norman.
She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Franklin; her sister Penny Gilchrist; her stepsons, Jason Franklin (Lhyn) and Jerod Franklin; her grandchildren, John Bruse, Josh Ludlum (Amanda), Brooke Norman (Karsyn), Shelby Norman (Adam), Ivan Franklin and Byron Franklin; and her great grandchildren, Summer, Audrey Ludlum and Brighton Hacker. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calendar Feuerborn Family Funeral Service - Iola (1883 US-54, Iola, KS 66749). A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service (1883 US-54, Iola, KS 66749).
Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and may be left in the care of Feuerborn Family Funeral Service.
