With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucy Lee McDowell (Iola, Kansas), who passed away on June 15, 2024 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Everett Thompson Sr. and Lucy Elizabeth Wilson Thompson; her husband G. W. "Mick" McDowell; and her siblings, June Thompson Toland (Stanley), Frank W. Thompson (Helen), Charlotte Thompson Ford (Harold) and Clyde E. Thompson (Nan).
She is survived by: her daughter Aimee McDowell Scovell (Joseph); her grandchildren, Grace Thompson Scovell and Samuel Joseph Scovell; and her caregivers, Kisha and Mona.
