Joe Sutherland Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2025, at the age of 81, Joe Sutherland of Iola, Kansas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joe Sutherland to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles L. Sutherland and Gladys V. Sutherland (Cortner); his sister Jeanie Sutherland; his brother-in-law John Divine; and his niece Erin Leigh Sutherland.
He is survived by: his wife Lynne; his children, Jody Parks (Richard) and Chuck Sutherland (Kristy); his grandchildren, Breckon Meins (Justin), Hallie Sutherland, Jadyn Parks and Rhett Parks; his great grandchild Wesley Leon Meins; and his siblings, Charlene Levans (George), Anne Divine and Richard Sutherland (Paula). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service (1883 US-54, Iola, KS 66749). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Calendar First Presbyterian Church - Iola (302 E Madison Ave, Iola, KS 66749). The inurnment will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:35 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the Southwind Extension District Education Foundation or Anderson County 4-H Council, and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service.
