With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joe Betzen of Iola, Kansas, born in Scott City, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Betzen and Anna Betzen (Koetting); and his sisters, Gertrude Weinzirl of Kansas City and Cleta Jasper of Colorado Springs. He is survived by: his wife JoAnne Lathy; and his children, Charles of Humboldt, Mary Calzonetti (Greg) of Wichita, Ann Wilkinson (Dan Threlkeld) of Shawnee, Kansas and Jim (Tammy) of Nevada, Missouri.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
