He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Smith and Neva Smith (Conley); his wife B. Ellen; and his siblings, Wilbur Smith and Norma Conaway.
He is survived by: his daughters, Wendy Derrick of Hewitt and Cindy Schafer (Bradley) of El Dorado, Kansas. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Memorials are suggested to Allen County Animal Rescue Facility (ACARF) and may be left in the care of the funeral home.
