We are sad to announce that on August 24, 2020, at the age of 69, Gary Cookus of Iola, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Cookus and Mary Cookus (Andrews); his brothers, Don, Walter and Richard Cookus; and his nieces and nephews, Bobby, Richard Cookus, Teresa Wallace, Cindy Devor and Elizabeth Cookus.
He is survived by: his wife Dawn; his children, Andrea Northcutt (Darren) and Aaron Cookus (Amanda); his grandchildren, Christopher Northcutt, Johanna Hendry, Breanna Northcutt, Kolton Northcutt, Dakota Cookus, Remingtyn Cookus, Easton Cookus and Brantlee Cookus; his great grandchildren, Izaac Northcutt, Noah Northcutt and Maggie Hendry; his brother Frank Cookus; and his nieces and nephews, Jimmy, Scotty Cookus, Kim Cookus and Stacy Bechtel. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
