Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Donnie Yancey of Iola, Kansas, born in Mount Vernon, Missouri, who passed away at the age of 82, on August 4, 2024. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Yancey and Fayma Yancey (Garner); his stepfather Paul Vaughn; his siblings, Charles Cornell, Norma Yancey, Phyllis Vaughn and Betty Bowers; and his son-in-law Chuck Leach.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Folk; his daughters, Tammy Spillman (Jim Tooles) of Hudson and Donna Hibbard (Tom) of Yates Center; his grandchildren, Paul Porter (Haley), Sloan Spillman, Maranda Spillman, Ethan Leach (Savannah), Emily Kinzle (Kyle) and Kendra Shaw (Derek); his great grandchildren, Billie Jean Porter, Emmalene Porter, Jordyn Spillman, Kaelyn Leach, River, Rowyn Kinzle, Lakyn and Lenyx Shaw; his siblings, Maryann Garton of Lathrop, Russell Vaughn of Iola, Dennis Vaughn of Eureka Springs and Billie Verdot of Fenton, Missouri; and his friends, Raymond and Emma Preston of Iola. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made out to the City of Gas, and will be used for the Gas City Park.
