He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon Peters and Frances Donald (Truskett); his stepfather Claude Donald; and his grandson Dylan Peters. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley "Jody" Schooley; his children, Daren Peters (Sheila), Dana Peters of Humboldt, Sabrina Peters (Brendan Williams) of Erie and David Peters (Lindsey) of Andover, Kansas; and his siblings, Eleanor Ross (Brenda Johnson) of Iola and Randy Peters (Jutta) of Schotten, Germany. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
